He removes my dress fully, and only then am I aware that he is naked. My eyes bulge at the size of him. Watching in apt fascination as it twitches, smacking against his very toned stomach. My hand reaches out, stroking down his stomach, feeling the hard plains under my fingertips. His eyes close, his chest heaving. His abs twitch, shivering at my touch. Oran stills when I reach his length. Wrapping my hands around him, feeling it move.

Oran’s hand stops me from exploring more, his eyes ablaze with desire. “Don’t, I won’t last long if you touch me, I’m barely holding it together as it is,” he says between clenched teeth.

I grin, “Good thing we have all night then,” I say cheekily.

“I want my first time to be inside you,” he says, moving me back to the bed.

  “First time?” I say.

  “Yes.” he whispers.

He slowly kisses down my body in slow agonising movements. I thrust my hips up, meeting his length. He chuckles darkly, his seductive gaze locking on my own.

“Please, take me,” I whisper. I need him, the feeling becoming painful as my core tightens.

I gasp when his mouth finally finds my centre. He draws me in hard, his mouth hot on me. I move my hips against him, feeling the build inside me. My centre clenches, my sensitive nub throbbing hard before my release. I throw my head back, my release coming hard and fast, not once but twice.

  “Oran,” I grind out. “Fuck.”

“Ummm,” Oran says, his eyes hot with desire.

I breathe heavily, my chest rising hard with every breath. Oran hovers over me, his length at my centre. He watches my face as he eases himself in. I hiss at the sharp pain, he stops, letting me feel the size of him. He groans, his face burying into my neck. My body wants more, so I thrust my hips up, slamming him into me. I gasp as he does, then we move together. Our bodies in sync, the heat building between us. I bite my lip to stop myself crying out. The mix of pain and pleasure making my body hot. Tingles flowing over me.

Oran takes over, moving faster, his hips connecting with mine. I can feel the whole length of him, he hits me in all the right places, going in all the way to the hilt. Hearing the slap of our bodies, turns me on more. I grab his face, kissing him hard until my lips bruise. Letting him slam into me without mercy. His hand moves down, cupping my mound, his finger moving over my hard and swollen nub.

I buck, moaning his name against his mouth. The feeling becomes too much, so many feelings overtaking me. My magic bursts free, engulfing us both. Oran groans as his does the same. The room is alight with our magic. A dust settles over us, vibrant colours of green, red, blue and yellows. They settle on our bodies, sinking into our skin.

Oran’s speed picks up. I bite into his shoulder as a scream escapes me, my orgasm bursting free. Oran’s release comes after mine, he grunts as he thrusts into me, his hot seed hitting my wall.

The glow in the room settles, the air hums. Oran rolls to the side, drawing me close to him. I face him, my leg settling over his hip.

“Well that was one way to take my mind off things.” I smile, stroking his hair.

A wicked glint shines in his eyes. “Who says I’m done,” he says, pulling me on top of him.

I giggle, kissing him, loving the way his body fts perfectly against mine. We make love twice more before falling asleep in each other’s arms. Both content and happy, until the morning that is.

The happy feeling fades when I step into class the following day. All eyes swivel my way, unease washing over me.

“What’s going on?” I ask Maxell.

He rushes to me, taking me into his arms. I stiffen slightly before relaxing. “We thought you left with her,” he says releasing me.

“With who?” The unease growing stronger.

“Your friend, Honey. She left early this morning with a male, no one knows who he is.”

“You mean Jay? She has been seeing him since we got here. We had a falling out yesterday. I have been with Oran.”

A shriek cuts through the room, my eyes land on Trixie, rage in her eyes. Her eyes flash before she leaves the room, slamming the door behind her.

“That girl is nothing but drama,” Maxell says, shaking his head. “Back to your friend. She left with someone we don’t know nor have met. She could be in danger.”

“When I met him, he instantly disliked me. When he walked away, I swear I saw his eyes flash black.”

“How is it you saw him, and we didn’t? I will inform the head pixie that she is missing and with a potential dark pixie.”

Maxell dismisses the class and swiftly leaves the room. Everyone cheers and leaves in a rush, enjoying their free time. I just stand there. I knew something was wrong, I should have gone after her. Oran said she would be safe, he was wrong.

  FInd and Seek

Searching for Honey took its toll on me. I was grumpy, snappy and searched with Mobsy whenever I could. The fact we had a dark pixie in the academy scared so many parents. My grandfather assured them that they were safe. He said if they leave the grounds then they are not. So, the parents had no choice but to leave their children at the academy.

Honey seems to have vanished, no trace of her anywhere on our lands. I told them to check the borders and check the veils for her essence. All I got told was that she wouldn’t have gone through them, so I checked them myself. We sneaked out at night, Mobsy flying high so we could go undetected. But her essence wasn’t there, if I knew where the dark pixie veil was, I would check there.

Sighing, I head to the gym for my private lesson with Felix and Zane making me nervous. Oran taught me how to control the water element, but I couldn’t make frost appear like he could. Felix said air was more difficult, and Zane said earth was easy.

Walking into the gym, I watch Zane wrap vines around his body and Felix creating small tornados with a flick of his finger. When Felix sees me, he zips over before I can even blink, pixies his fast.

  “Hey,” he says cheerfully.

“Hey,” I chuckle back. “Shall I go change?” gesturing to the dress I have on.

His eyes travel down my body, landing on my legs before making their way back to my face. He smirks, stepping into my space.

“Well, I don’t mind watching those long legs of yours. But if we are to use my element, I would suggest a more fitting garment.” To show his point, he flicks his hand and a gust of wind lifts my dress, revealing my underwear.

His eyes bulged when he sees my lacy number. Barely a piece of material covering the front, leaving my backside bare.

“Like what you see?” I ask with a wink.

He gulps, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “Er, maybe you should change. That can be rather distracting.” His face flushes as he walks away. Zane standing on the other side smirking.

I watch fondly as they play fight, wondering if they are truly my mates as well as Oran. I don’t feel the same pull yet, but maybe that will come with time. I yelp, jumping as a vine strokes my backside. I turn to glare at the laughing culprit, Zane doubled over laughing like a Kobold.

I scamper to the changing area, going to my locker. I pull off my dress, putting on my active wear. I am about to walk out when a hand covers my mouth, dragging me into the shadows. I try screaming, but the hand is tight against my mouth. My back is flushed to a hard front, so male. His essence I don’t know, he feels dark, like a black cloud suffocating me.

He hisses in my ear. “Stop looking for your friend, or I will have to kill you.”

I mumble, he removes his hand. “You have no idea who you’re messing with,” I seethe.

“Oh, but I do. The question is, do you know who you are dealing with Princess?” he mocks.

“You’re a dark pixie, you want our lands.”

  “Smart, but wrong.”

  “Then what do you want?”

“We want you. You are the key to our salvation and freedom. You will set us free from the dark lands and we will reign over you all.”

I flinch at his nearness, his hot breath o
n my ear. I shudder, revolted by this being.

  “You will never have me.”

“Wrong again. When the time is right, I will come and collect my prize.”

  “I don’t think so.”

He laughs darkly, the rumble making me on edge. “If you don’t come with me, I will kill the one you call Honey. I will devour her soul, feast on her flesh and spit out the bones.”

My magic flares, lighting up the changing area. I turn to face him, horrified at what I see before me. His face is distorted, long with sharp cheekbones. His teeth sharp and hanging over his bottom lip. He looks as the humans say, like a vampire. He looks pale, his eyes glowing an eerie red.

He smiles, a sinister smile. “Maybe I will have just a little taste of you, like I’ve tasted Honey.” He licks his lips making me cringe. “It will piss off my master, but I don’t care.” He lunges for me; my hands shoot out. I scream as my magic shoots from me, igniting the male before me. He screeches, a high-pitched sound that makes me cover my ears. He hisses, teeth bared before disappearing into the shadows.

Zane’s face is the last thing I see before I hit the deck. His worried face looking down at me, catching me before I hit the floor. Then darkness takes me, sending me into a dreamless oblivion.

  Zane

When I hear her scream, I am the first to move. My wings pumping hard to get to Pixie. When I enter the changing area, a shadow flickers and red eyes gaze at me before disappearing. Before Pixie hits the floor my arms snake out to catch her. She gazes up at me, those beautiful hazel eyes looking into my own. Her full lips forming a perfect ‘O’ before her eyes close and she slumps in my arms.

Felix crashes into the room, looking around wildly before his eyes land on us.

  “What the pixie heavens happened?”

“I don’t know, she screamed and when I came in, her magic was alight. A dark shadow was watching me, his red eyes gleaming.” I shudder, the dark energy still lingering. “She’s not safe, her father was right, they are after her.”

“Damn, what do we do? We were told they couldn’t get to her here.”

“They were wrong, she isn’t safe here.”

“Maybe we should tell her the truth, hiding this, it isn’t helping.”

  “Her father.”

Felix cuts me off, an angry frown on his face. “Her father can bite me. She isn’t safe and keeping her in the dark will only endanger her more. She was safer in the human world; her essence was hidden with all that fog in the air.”

“I know that, I was watching her too. Little did we know that we were actually protecting our mate.”

“All these secrets, and for what?” Felix’s voice rises. “One of our own has been taken and Pixie has encountered one of them.” He shakes his head. “We can’t train her in the dark like this. She needs to know; she needs to know the dark veil is opening and she is the only one that can close it.”

“Her mother died trying, Felix. She used all her magic to saves us from them. What if the same happens to her, what if we lose her?” My heart breaks at the thought.

“We won’t, she is stronger, stronger than her mother.”

“I hope you’re right.” I say, looking at my mate.

  Pixie

I can hear whispers; their tone sounds urgent or angry. My body feels sore, my energy spent. I groan as I try to sit up, but hands gently push me back down.

“Stay still Pixie.” That’s Felix’s voice, he sounds worried.

  “What happened?” I ask groggily.

“You were attacked by a dark pixie, don’t you remember?” he replies.

When I open my eyes, his worried gaze comes into view. Zane and Oran are at the foot of the bed, looking equally worried.

“So, that’s what they look like,” I manage to say. My throat feels dry.

Oran grabs the glass of water on the side, tilting it into my mouth. I drink greedily, spilling it down my chin.

“Easy Pixie love, sip it,” Oran says. He strokes the hair out of my eyes, trailing his finger down my chin.

I sigh contently, my eyes fluttering closed. “Thank you,” I croak.

“Can you tell us what happened?” Zane asks.

“Can you help me sit up, please?” Two sets of strong arms help me into a sitting position. “Thank you. I went to get changed, just as I pulled on my active wear, strong hands grabbed me, pulling me to his chest and covering my mouth. I felt the darkness radiating from him.” I shiver at the memory. “Jay said that when I’m ready, he will come for me.”

All the males stiffen, their eyes turning murderous. “He also said his master would be angry with him if he hurt me, he was about to lean in and bite me before my magic erupted from me.”

“Then it was lucky that your magic reacted,” Oran says. He runs a shaky hand through his hair, tugging on it slightly.

“Why? What happens if they bite you?”

“You turn dark, the more they bite, the worse it gets,” he replies.

I gasp, covering my mouth. I look up horrified. “Is that what happened to Honey? Is she dark?”

“Quite possibly. She might not be fully yet, so there is still hope for her.” He sighs, looking at the others. They nod, my eyes flicker between them as they have a silent conversation.

Oran sits on the edge of my bed. Felix and Zane grab chairs, sitting close to me.

“We have something to tell you, we were told not to, but after this…” Oran grabs my hand. “Your father came to us a year ago.”

I go to speak, but he holds up his hand stopping me. “Please, let us just get this out, then you can ask questions.” I nod, my stomach knowing with worry.

“Your father came to us, said that he allowed you to go to the human world. As soon as that happened, the darkness started. He tried to find you, but the problem was, your essence was hidden from us. We didn’t know then that you were our mate, we thought we were hired to protect you. The longer you were away, the more the darkness took hold of our lands.”

“When we knew the dark veil was starting to open, we upped our search for you,” Zane continues. “We eventually found you and watched you from afar. When the time was right, we sent that message to you, for you to return home. As soon as you stepped foot on our lands again, the darkness stopped spreading. But the veil remained partly open for a while, then it closed again.”

“We were told,” Oran takes over, “that you are the key to closing the veil, just like your mother was. Your father told us that it could kill you, like it killed your mother.”

“Then we met you,” Felix says, smiling. “We knew that we couldn’t lose you, so we all chose to train you personally. What we didn’t expect was our growing love for you. Your mother was a great warrior, but you’re something more. Your magic feels old, magic before our time.”

“That’s why we know that you won’t perish,” Oran dips in.” You are so much stronger than your mother Pixie, plus you have us to help you. Your mother did it alone, she took on all the darkness from our lands and forced it back into the dark pixie lands, closing the veil. From the story your father told us, her body turned to dust, absorbed into the veil. He worries that he’ll lose you too, that’s why he was so keen for you to leave.”

“My mother was killed saving us all, she didn’t die the way my father told me.” Tears fall from my eyes, Oran scoops me up, placing me in his lap. Felix holds my hand, while Zane places his on my leg. All of them wanting to comfort me, soothe me, love me. “How can I save us all when I can’t control my magic. What if I die like her, what if I can’t save us and we all die?” I sob.

Oran makes shushing noises, stroking my back. All three of their magic flares, touching me, mine reacts, sucking in a shuddering breath as I stare at all three of my males.

“Nothing will happen to you, I promise,” Oran says into my hair. “We will protect you with our lives.”

All I can do is nod, deep down I know I was born for something else. Right now, we can’t do anything until I tr
ain and learn to control my magic. Right now, I just want their love, their touch.

“Make love to me,” I say, lust running through me. “I want to feel you, all of you. Make me feel good.”

Eyes swivel my way, desire consuming me. Feeling brave, I stand and slip my clothes off so I’m standing in my lacy underwear. Crawling back onto the bed, I lay down. My males’ eyes watch my every move, their length hardening before my eyes.

“What are you waiting for?” I ask smiling at their opened mouths.
